Veterinary Neurology 

Neurology is responsible for the diagnosis and treatment of diseases that affect the nervous system, both central (brain and spinal cord) and peripheral. 

Among the symptoms that may have a neurological origin are:

  • Paresis: partial absence of voluntary movement of one or more limbs.

  • Paralysis: complete absence of voluntary movement of one or more limbs.

  • Ataxia and incoordination.

  • Tremors.

  • Loss of balance, head tilts.

  • Abnormal behaviors.

  • Mental state depression.

  • Seizures.
