Animal Wellness Clinic

At the Montjüic Veterinary Hospital you will find the Wellness Clinic, directed by Pedro Sousa, a veterinarian specialized in Anesthesia, Analgesia and Physiotherapy, together with the veterinary physiotherapy technical assistant, Izaskun Cordero. Our Wellness Clinic is more than a place; It is a refuge for patients fighting pain and illness.

Our mission is simple, but profound: to relieve pain and improve the quality of life of our patients. We primarily focus on the area of physical therapy and veterinary rehabilitation, providing exceptional care to animals battling various pathologies, from hernias to cancer and osteoarthritis.

Advanced therapies
At the Wellness Clinic, we don't just talk about care, we practice it through cutting-edge tools. To control chronic pain in our patients, we use advanced technologies such as laser therapy, INDIBA radiofrequency and magnetotherapy. These tools not only relieve pain, but also promote recovery and improve the quality of life for our patients.

Veterinary innovation
But our work does not stop here. We are committed to constant improvement. Not only do we provide excellent care, we also research and implement new treatments, such as stem cell therapy. We believe in the importance of learning, evolving and growing to provide the best possible care to our patients and their families.

Shared care: guidance and support for guardians
We not only treat patients, we team up with their tutors. We deeply believe in the importance of involving owners in the care and recovery process of their pets. By working hand in hand with tutors, we share knowledge and experience and provide emotional support and guidance.

Decent accompaniment in difficult times
At the Wellness Clinic, we consider comprehensive and dignified support at each stage of the animals' life cycle. We know that making the decision to euthanasia to alleviate your pet's suffering is incredibly difficult. That's why our team of professionals is here to provide you with the support you need. We create a warm and personalized environment, where you can say goodbye peacefully during this difficult time.

We are here to help you! Do not hesitate to contact us to learn more about our services.

Thank you for trusting us and our dedication to improving your life!

Aquatic Therapy

Aquatic therapy has many benefits. Exercising in water is beneficial for developing strength, muscular endurance, cardiorespiratory endurance, range of motion, agility and mental well-being, all while minimizing pain. Gravity is the main resistance force when exercising on land, while viscosity, friction and turbulence are the main ones in water; These properties have a direct effect on heart rate and oxygen consumption.
